Whilst her co-host was in quarantine for the past two weeks in the lead up to his exit, Alex was joined by a number of guest presenters.
This included the likes of former Strictly Come Dancing star Chris Ramsey, 33, and friend of the show, Patrick Kielty, 49.
Although many many have thought this was a temporary solution, it seems this method of rotating presenters is how the BBC will be dealing with Matt’s absence.
A spokesperson confirmed the news by stating: “We are drawing on our existing family of presenters – made up of men and women – to present alongside Alex Jones.”
