Marzia Kjellberg need never worry about being too far from her husband PewDiePie, seeing as he’s always got a way to make sure they’re in contact.
Albeit that contact being a little one-sided, may we add.
The pair is currently separated with Pewds – real name Felix Kjellberg – hanging back in Japan following their holiday after he took his well-earned break from YouTube earlier this year.
Seemingly chilling at their home in the UK, Marzia shared a screenshot of her WhatsApp conversation with Felix – whom she married in August last year – after he’d spied on her from across the seas.
Pewds had sent Marzia an image of her on the couch, which is all kinds of inception, writing ‘U look hot’ and a bunch of emojis.
This is modern love, right here – security camera declarations of love from afar.
Alongside the shot, Marzia (who also revealed Felix is saved under ‘Felur’ in her phone) wrote: ‘Felix checked the security camera and saw me.’
We can’t blame the couple for keeping an eye on their security settings, after the pair had their home in Japan robbed last year, sadly ransacked of ‘90% of their valuables’, which is so horrendous.
Still, that didn’t stop the YouTuber from celebrating his break from the platform, after he decided to take five and step back from the channel he’s poured his all into over the past decade.
Jetting off to Japan for a break, 27-year-old Marzia posted gorgeous snaps from the couple’s second home – from finding delicious vegan restaurants to enjoying the Gōtokuji Temple.
Although Marzia jetted home to the UK a little early, Felix went on to enjoy some more time in the country, although he’s been taking a detox from social media.
All the more time to do some karaoke, yes?
It’s unclear when the star is set to return to YouTube but, in his last video, the 30-year-old reassured viewers he’s set to come back with ‘10,000%’.
Pouring himself a drink in the video, which is nearing 20 million views in his absence, he said: ‘I just wanted to take this moment to give a toast…thank you for watching across the years…it is a big thing, even though it isn’t a big thing.
‘I want to say thank you for watching my videos; it makes me happy…Cheers to you.’
Felix continued: ‘One thing I really realised is I love making videos and I love interacting with you guys…but I think this year has been so much piling up that I should probably cool down for a bit. Then I will come back with 10,000%.’
And we cannot wait.
In the meantime we’ll just enjoy how ruddy cute these two lovebirds are.
