Married At First Sight‘s Natasha Spencer has revealed she quit the show during filming last year, subsequently ending her ‘marriage’ to Mikey Pembroke.
Speaking to New Idea on Monday, the 26-year-old explained that ‘immense pressure’ from producers on set led to her ‘suffering a terrible panic attack and anxiety’.
‘I have had a lot of things happen in my past, which were brought up on the show, which is the reason I left,’ Natasha told the publication.

She continued: ‘Things happened in my childhood which I didn’t want brought up.
‘I had a panic attack on there because I had a failing relationship and production was pushing me to tell [Mikey’s parents] what a terrible partner he is. I lost it and started crying.’
The beauty added that ‘pressures’ to cause drama on camera combined with 15-hour filming days and being away from her family ultimately led to her quitting.

As a result of Natasha’s decision, Mikey was forced to leave the show too.
Meanwhile, other show sources have stated that Natasha’s decision to leave was a mutual one made with producers due to her mental health.
However, she denies this.

During the first commitment ceremony, the pair gushed over each other and both decided to continue with the social experiment and their marriage.
‘We didn’t consummate the marriage on the honeymoon but we were definitely intimate,’ said Natasha to the three relationship experts.
‘Mikey is wonderful and there’s so many good things about him that I’m grateful for, and I just want to see more of it.’
