Follow all the action live as Manchester United welcome Premier League stragglers Watford to Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side revived their top-four hopes with victory against Chelsea, but remain six points adrift of the Champions League places.
Meanwhile, Nigel Pearson’s heroics at Watford have ground to a halt, with the club now without a win in their last four games. However, a draw would take them out of the relegation zone. Follow all the action live:
77 min: Off the bar! A great effort from Deulofeu, who’s picked out by Hughes and looks to curl a shot into the far corner. He’s unlucky to see it strike the woodwork.
73 min: It’s all a bit loose from United at the moment. A few stray passes in midfield give Watford the chance to spark a counter attack, but the visitors have lacked any real cutting edge throughout.
68 min: Fernandes curls an excellent cross into the box from the left, finding the head of Maguire. The big defender glances his effort wide though.
66 min: Greenwood, after a few stepovers, hits a low shot which Foster saves with his feet. The hosts are growing in confidence now.
63 min: Nothing comes of the corner. That goal has eased a lot of the tension at Old Trafford.
62 min: United are in control now. Fernandes slips another good pass into James, whose left-footed shot is tame. Foster tries to keep the ball in play, though, and in doing so gives away a corner.
56 min: Great play from James to knock the ball through Dawson’s legs before driving into the box. He sends a low ball into the box, but it’s just beyond Greenwood waiting in the middle. Watford deal with the corner that follows.
54 min: Another Watford corner is curled right underneath the crossbar but De Gea, this time, claims it. United don’t look convincing defensively.
54 min: NO GOAL! Manchester United 1-0 Watford
The goal won’t count! The ball struck Dawson on the arm and VAR intervenes to rescue United.
51 min: Nervy defending from United, who struggle to clear a deep cross and allow Doucoure to break into the box. His low ball across the face of goal is diverted behind for a corner.
49 min: Fernandes sets James away down the left with a clever outside-of-the-foot pass. The young winger cuts inside onto his right foot before firing off a shot, which is blocked by Dawson. It’s been a pretty slow start to the second half from both sides.
44 min: This has not been a great display by United, but Fernandes has been the best player on the pitch and it’s the Portuguese who has made the decisive difference.
