Jesse Lingard contract extension

Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard is attracting interest from four Premier League clubs, according to 90min.

The four teams looking to sign Lingard are Leicester, West Ham, Newcastle and Everton.

However, the England international may end up staying until 2022 with the Red Devils mulling over whether to trigger a one-year extension in the player’s contract.

Lingard has struggled for form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Timo Werner boost

Manchester United have been handed a boost in the hunt for Timo Werner.

The RB Leipzig striker is under consideration by the Red Devils, according to the Manchester Evening News, but was thought to be heading to Liverpool.

However, a move to Anfield appears to be off the cards because the Reds are going to cut back on their spending because of the coronavirus crisis, the Daily Mirror claim. 

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sign a striker in the summer and Werner is one of a number of potential targets.

Jadon Sancho transfer latest

Manchester United have decided they will not be breaking their transfer record for top target Jadon Sancho, according to Bleacher Report

The Red Devils are eager to land the England international, who has dazzled in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.

But they have decided not to spend more than £89million on a single player in the upcoming transfer window due to the coronavirus crisis.

The club’s current record signing is Paul Pogba, who returned to Old Trafford from Juventus in 2016.
