Man Utd name team full of youngsters vs PSG – and fans LOVE it

Manchester United have a mountain to climb in their Champions League tie in Paris.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has put his trust in youth, selecting no less than FOUR youngsters on his bench for the clash. with PSG.

United’s squad is riddled with injuries and suspensions, as they bid to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg.

With several key first team players out, including Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba , Solskjaer has taken his pick of the club’s youth team.

Mason Greenwood, Tanith Chong, James Garner, and Angel Gomes make up four of the seven substitutes.

Both Greenwood and Garner are just 17 years old, with Gomes 18 and Chong 19.

Between them they share just three first team appearances, with Greenwood yet to make his senior debut.

Even Diego Dalot, who is considered one of the more seasoned pro’s amongst the substitutes is also only 19.

Goalkeeper Sergio Romero and Marcus Rojo make up the rest of those looking to make an impact from the bench.

However despite United needing a huge performance against a strong PSG side, United fans stormed Twitter to show their delight at the team selection.

One fan, @Firooooo, wrote: “Love this bench. Best academy in the world. MUFC.”

@haesham added: “Bench looks so exciting.”
