If any club does sign Sancho, City are expected to make money from the deal, as it has been reported that the Citizens included a sell-on clause when they sold the youngster to Dortmund.
This also means it would be cheaper for City to bring him back to the Etihad, although it is not clear how the player would feel about ruling out the prospect of European football for two seasons following the ban.
