Saul said: “We know how we can hurt Liverpool their strengths and weaknesses, and we always compete against big teams.
“We have to make the most of the home game. There will be an incredible atmosphere, more than ever.”
Saul graduated from Atletico’s academy in 2012 and after a short loan stint at Rayo Vallecano he joined the club’s senior team.
He has so far amassed 37 goals in a whopping 282 matches for the club and has a contract that runs until 2026.
