But Dortmund are standing by their sky-high asking price and would only sanction a sale if the timing is right.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told WAZ: “Jadon has a valid contract with us, and we would be very happy if he would still be with us next season.
“In order to even think about anything else, first of all, the timing would have to be right, and secondly, our price expectations would have to be met 100 per cent.”
A replacement would be needed if Dortmund do sell Sancho – and Zorc is already on the hunt.
“If Jadon leaves, we would like to sign a new offensive player,” he added.
