Mama June – real name June Shannon – has reportedly been arrested for felony drug possession at a gas station in Alabama.
The 38-year-old reality TV icon was taken into custody after getting into a domestic incident on Wednesday with her boyfriend Geno Doak, 42, according to TMZ.
The star was seen in the back of a sheriff’s pickup truck with bars on the windows and taken to jail following the incident.
Doak was arrested for domestic violence/harassment, felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia whereas Mama June was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, it was claimed.

Police were called by concerned citizens worried about June and Geno getting into a ‘confrontation.’
Court docs obtained by DailyMail.com show Geno’s rap sheet dates back to 1996 for felony burglary
Felony drug possession in Alabama could spell one to 10 years of jail time for June as well as a fine up to $15,000, according to criminaldefenselawyer.com.
The couple has been together for three years.
She is best known for her TV shows Here Comes Honey Boo Boo (2012 to 2017) and Mama June: From Not To Hot (2017 to present).
Season three of From Not To Hot kicks off Friday evening.
June has four children: Anna, 24, Jessica, 22, Lauryn (Pumpkin), 19, and Alana (Honey Boo Boo), 13.
Geno has a criminal past.
His crimes include burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. He has served jail time.
She doesn’t have the best luck with boyfriends.
Her last beau before Geno was Mark McDaniel, who served 10 years in prison for molesting June’s then eight-year-old daughter Anna.
When news came out about what had happened, her show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled.
A March 2003 report, seen by RadarOnline, revealed how Anna ‘Chickadee’ Shannon told authorities in Spalding County, Georgia that she had done the ‘S word’ with McDaniel.

She also told police that her mother’s boyfriend touched her inappropriately, made her touch him inappropriately and forced her to perform a sex act on him. When she told him to stop, he would not.
Anna, who appeared on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo with her mother and siblings, has since revealed that when she first told her mother about the abuse, Mama June refused to believe her.
McDaniel was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after pleading guilty to child molestation. He left prison in March 2014 and then started seeing Mama June again.

The abuse came to light after Anna told her elementary school teacher that her stepfather had assaulted her. She was able to describe the assaults in graphic detail, the report notes.
The molestation was carried out multiple times between April and October 2002, according to the report.
It took Anna months to speak out about the abuse because McDaniel had threatened to kill her if she told, RadarOnline reported.
‘Anna stated that Mark told her not to tell because he would not like her anymore,’ Beach continued. ‘Anna advised she got tired of holding it in and had to tell.’

Speaking to the National Enquirer in 2012, Anna’s ex-boyfriend said: ‘Anna told me that McDaniel threatened that if she ever told her grandparents what happened to her, he’d kill them and her.’

But in August she said she had gained 50lbs back.
‘I was 350 pounds to 150 pounds and now I’m back up to 200 pounds. People just need to learn who they are,’ she said.
