Lucy Verasamy, 38, uploaded a series of shots to her Instagram to show off her now broken shades.
The ITV weather star revealed her pet pooch had been after them.
Alongside a picture of her with her dog, she wrote: “Someone had a nibble on my sunnies.”
Lucy added: “Guilty looking puppy.”
The meteorologist uploaded another snap of her broken sunglasses and said: “Uh oh, at least they weren’t needed this week.”
Meanwhile, in today’s weather forecast, Lucy stunned in a fitted pink frock which featured frilly short-sleeves.
She looked stunning as always in the bright ensemble to present the weather.
Lucy styled her brunette locks into her usual wavy look and kept her make-up simple.
In the forecast, she said: “Temperatures remarkably low given the time of year.”
She went on: “Breezy with further bursts of rain as we head into a new week, some brighter skies and some early summer sunshine.”
In the afternoon, Lucy said there will be further blustery downpours in the north of the UK.
“Elsewhere a drier, cheerful scene, some lovely sunshine,” she added.
Lucy continued: “Away from the breeze, out of the cloud, highs of 20, 21 degrees and drying up as we head into the afternoon.
“Winds will start to fade, a little calmer for many of us.”
Lucy will have a busy week as she will be presenting the weather for ITV racing.
And she appeared excited for the week ahead as she replied to a tweet posted by Sky Sports Racing presenter, Alex Hammond.
Alex wrote: “All @Ascot outfits sorted now thanks to the super stylist @MaisonDeSaison
“So excited to show you all what we have chosen. #RoyalAscot #Fashion #Style #Stylist #HorseRacing #Vintage.”
Lucy replied: “Can’t wait to see the outfits!”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
