Now, one Reddit user has speculated what tragic events could take place next season.
They began: “Lucifer starts out still in Hell. Meanwhile, something happens with Linda the baby (perhaps they get kidnapped?) so Amanidial and Maze contact Lucifer to ask for his help, and he returns – temporarily.
“Amanidial gets some fake info and believes that his family is dead, so believing he has nothing to live for, agrees to rule Hell so Lucifer can live with Chloe and Trixie.
“By the time the truth comes to light, Amanidial is ruling Hell and, except for the odd Lucifer-style vacation, can’t get out of it, so Maze continues to look out for Linda and the baby while Chloe and Lucifer live happily ever after in L.A.”
