Michael Griffiths revealed his fears of being suspended from the fire service after taking part in the popular ITV show.
The Love Island alumni told his 1.2m followers last night that his plans for the future are still very much up in the air.
Speaking on whether he will return to Liverpool as a firefighter anytime soon Michael said: “I need to speak to work as right now as I feel like I will be suspended.” reports the Daily Star.
“The rest is a conversation that I need to have with my boss.” he added.
The 27-year-old previously appeared on This Morning to tell presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langford that he has plans on helping the fire services in any way he can.
He added: “Right now I am grateful I even got the opportunity to do it and I still want to support the fire service.”
“I want to do a fireman calendar and I want to donate a lot of the money to the firefighter charity.”
Michael was dumped from the Love Island villa earlier this month when winner Amber Gill decided to couple up with Irish lad Greg O’Shea instead.
Speaking of their win on Monday night the Scouser went on to ITV’s GMB yesterday to reluctantly say: “I’m actually so happy for Amber and Greg right now.
“They are such a nice couple together and it’s nice to see them smiling, both of them.
“They look so happy together. It’s nice.”
Michael watched the Love Island final from Brighton and was in complete disbelief when it was announced that Amber and Greg were crowned winners and were walking away with the 50K prize.
“Jumping around the stage on Brighton beach, he shouted “Oh s**t!” nine times, before saying: “I didn’t expect that, wow!”
