Love Island star Jourdan Riane has confirmed her split from Danny Williams after claims she had “accused him of talking to other girls.”
One month after moved in with her boyfriend, the reality TV star told her 583,000 Instagram followers that while their love “was real”, she has to “respect herself first.”
She wrote: “I have to respect me first. I genuinely had such a great time in my relationship and I don’t regret the decisions I’ve made as far as choosing to give someone a chance however, I have boundaries.
“In a relationship there are things I won’t tolerate. Lack of respect, disloyalty & dishonesty are amongst those things. I know people will come with the ‘I told you so’, ‘you should’ve listened’ (maybe it’s true) & more than likely snigger/laugh at my situation.
“The reality is my mum raised me to be a strong woman and always give the benefit of the doubt and let people prove themselves to you. Which is what I did. I went into this with a genuine heart & real intention to make it work.
“The love was as real as the hurt is now. But…. I will continue to grow and love myself first. If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not right.”
Her post comes after a source told The Sun that the 24-year-old heard rumours her other half was “speaking to other girls” and “flirting.”
They were quoted as saying: “Jourdan started to hear rumours he was speaking to other girls behind her back. She confronted him about it but he just laughed it off.”
“Next thing she knows, Jourdan is getting messages from girls saying Danny’s been flirting with them and then she hears he’s spent all night partying with loads of random women.”
They also said Danny barely protested when Jourdan confronted him.
Standard Online have contacted Danny and Jourdan’s representatives for further comment.
The pair met on the ITV dating show this summer and struck up a relationship after coupling up following the popular Casa Amor segment.
Jourdan and Danny, who have talked about marriage in interviews, confirmed that they had moved into a new home together in September.
The pair showed off their new abode in almost identical Instagram posts.
Jourdan shared snaps from the couple’s modern, but empty, kitchen and wrote: “Always wanted to move since before the show…. and made it my mission since coming out to make sure I did.
“Finally have a house to make into a home.”
Danny also added: “Feel proud, scared, nervous, excited all in one. Here’s to new chapters.”
The actress has posted videos of herself cleaning the same home just this week.
The news comes after reports of Ovie Soko and India Reynolds – who also met on this year’s Love Island – splitting up surfaced last week.
