Love Island revealed that one couple would be dumped from the villa on Tuesday night – but we knew there would be a twist coming.

After a day of handling the annual baby challenge, the group were told to gather around the firepit once again for the results.

In turn, each Islander received a text to reveal who was safe and who was at risk of being dumped.

The first couple announced as safe was Demi Jones and Luke Mabbott.

The second couple revealed as safe was Jess Gale and Ched Uzor.

But Jamie Clayton and Natalia Zoppa received the least amount of public votes so they were immediately dumped from the South African villa.

As they left the villa, Jamie exclaimed: ‘In my head, the plan for me and Natalia is to see where things go when we get out of the villa.’

Natalia continued: ‘We will live like 20 minutes from each other anyway.’

Jamie added: ‘We will see how long it takes for her to get sick of me.’

Then the twist was delivered – and the remaining two couples –  Molly and Callum and Mike and Priscilla are now at risk of being dumped from the island.

It will now be down to the remaining Islanders to decide to leaves, but in true Love Island fashion, the show was left on a cliffhanger.

Luke T read out the text: ‘Molly and Callum, Mike and Priscilla you are still vulnerable.

‘But only one more couple will leave tonight, which couple stays and which couple goes will be decided by your fellow islanders.’

So we will have to wait until tomorrow night to find out who…

So who will go and who will stay?

Love Island airs daily at 9pm on ITV2.
