Love Island viewers can’t cope with ‘cute’ Tommy and Molly-Mae (Picture: ITV)

Love Island viewers were left with their hearts melted after watching Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae share their first kiss.

Yes, the on and off couple appear to have finally become a new favourite among fans, and have secured their relationship by locking lips.

After coupling up in last night’s show, it seems they have only gone from strength to strength, and the 20-year-old boxer decided he wanted things to the next level.

‘Come on,’ he smiled at Molly as he took her to one side in the villa.

Talking about their bond in the Beach Hut, he confessed: ‘Molly-Mae makes me feel like I have a new lease of life, you know?

‘I fall hard and fast and at the end of the day I think I’ve fallen for her.’

He choked up: ‘When we have a kiss that’ll be that. I’m underneath it, I’m gone and locked and thrown away the key, there’s nothing more I can do.

‘But hopefully that’s the way it can be and hopefully it maintains that way.’

The camera then shot to the pair looking all cosy as they sat away from their fellow islanders.

Explaining why he called the 20-year-old to one side, Tommy gushed: ‘We didn’t get off to the best start.

‘Well, we got off to a good start, the start was smooth but then it got a bit bumpy, and things went the way they went, and now we’re back on track.

‘I’ve never met a girl I’ve got on with this much.’

Taken a back by his comment Molly looked shocked and asked: ‘Really?’

‘Really,’ Tommy affirmed as he continued: ‘I genuinely didn’t think I’d come in here and be blown away, but that’s exactly what you’ve done.’

‘And every time I wake up next to you, it just makes me smile because I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve waking up with you.’

Pouring his heart out, the sportsman added: ‘And I just wanted you to know that and how much I do care about you, and I know for a fact that if you’re not in this villa, I don’t want to be in this villa either.

‘I know that no one is going to walk through this door and we’re going to have a connection like I do with you, it’s just different.’

The duo then locked lips for the first time, and sent their fans into meltdown on Twitter.

‘Tommy and Molly Mae are so cute,’ one commented, while another added: ‘Absolutely adore molly and tommy they are the cutest.’

And it seems they managed to win over the nation, as someone else stated: ‘Ok tommy & molly are my favs now.’

Whether or not their romance will blossom is unknown, however it seems their fans have high hopes and are only wishing the pair well.

Love Island will continue tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
