Star of Love Island , Ovie Soko has broken the hearts of fans as he ruled out a potential romance with his best friend and Love Island winner, Amber Gill.
The 28-year-old addressed the rumours surrounding his alleged romance with Greg O’Shea’s ex-girlfriend.
Despite having a close bond and recently adding fuel to the fire as they appeared at London’s Winter Wonderland – Ovie confirmed they are “100% not dating.”
Speaking to Mirror Online at the Mirror’s Pride of Sport Awards, in partnership with TSB, Ovie finally put the rumours to rest.

The basketball hunk said: “Amber’s a friend. It’s gonna stay that way. 100%”
Last week, at the Radio 1 Teen Awards, Amber and Ovie caused a storm on the red carpet as they posed alongside one another.
Amber looked sensational as she rocked a mini-dress, featuring a black corset which showcased her tiny waist.

While Ovie proudly stood next to his pal, wrapping an arm around her – looking dapper in an all-black suit.
The basketball player also spoke about his breakup from Love Island partner, India Reynolds – saying: “I’m ok. Breakups are never easy.
“They’re never easy for anyone. However many billions of us there are in the world, all of us go through breakups.

“I’ve always wished her the best.”
Despite entering the villa late, he quickly became a fan favourite and had viewers gushing over him.
He went on to reach the final, coming third with his partner India, losing out on the top spot to Amber and her ex, Greg O’Shea.

Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury came second in the competition but have since gone on to secure their relationship and have moved in together.
Sadly, Amber and Greg became the fastest winning couple to split – with the Irish rugby player ending his relationship via text, just hours before a TV appearance with Amber.
