LOVE Island is returning to ITV2 in just THREE days, and with the cast already having created an enormous buzz, we shouldn’t forget about Caroline Flack and Iain Stirling.

The two are returning to host and narrate the forthcoming series, but what else must you know about them before the show kicks off on June 3? Let’s find out.

Is there a Love Island 2019 trailer?

Unfortunately not. While it’s unclear as to why ITV2 has opted not to release a trailer in the lead-up to the series premiere, the network has been teasing clips and snippets on their social media.

On the official Love Island Twitter account, fans can find a number of new press photos and exclusive clips from host Caroline Flack discussing the upcoming season.

For exclusive content and coverage of the show’s cast members, you’re probably best off to have a browse around the Love Island Twitter page because there’s plenty of photos and videos.

Despite there being no trailer, however, the ITV2 programme is already being named to be the most anticipated reality show to return this year.

So people are definitely going to be tuning in – even if it’s just to see if the new series can live up to its previous run in 2018.

Is Caroline Flack returning to Love Island?

Caroline Flack will certainly be back to host Love Island this year.

The brunette has helmed the role since 2005 and it doesn’t seem like Caroline will be leaving anytime soon because fans adore her – obviously.

Flack confirmed her return to Love Island in May, having revealed that production had just commenced for the team and that she was gearing up to meet the new contestants.

She said: “But what’s really exciting about this week is, this week we start filming for Love Island 2019!

“And by the end of the week, I’m gonna have potentially have seen the cast for this year. Which is really exciting and mad that’s come round this quick.

“So I’ll let you know what happens. It’s gonna be a long hot summer and all that”.

Will Iain Stirling be back to narrate the show?

Indeed.

Iain Stirling will be coming back to provide his hilarious commentary while also narrating each and every episode.

While he has confirmed his return as the narrator, Iain hilariously stressed that he would never take part in the show as a contestant.

He responded saying that he didn’t feel he had the body to be on the TV programme. Ian revealed: “It would be absolutely lovely to see that but I don’t want that one different body to be mine.
“I don’t want to be known for the rest of my life as the fat one from Love Island”.

When is Love Island back on TV?

Love Island will make its anticipated return next Monday (June 3, 2019) on ITV2, so get ready because the summer isn’t going to be the same once season five starts.

The last series was the longest the show has ever been on television for as it lasted an incredible eight weeks.

It’s unclear how long the 2019 edition will run for, but knowing that this is ITV2’s biggest show, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the fifth season lasting over 10 weeks.
