Louise Redknapp stills calls ex Jamie Redknapp her husband: ‘I am the biggest train wreck’

Louise Redknapp has opened up about life after her divorce from Jamie Redknapp in a candid new interview. The Eternal hitmaker branded herself a “train wreck” and said she “forgets” she is no longer married.

The 45-year-old and the former former footballer, 46, wed back in 1998 in a romantic Bermuda ceremony.

They went on to have two sons: Charley, 15, and Beau, 11, before the ex couple officially went their separate ways at the end of 2017.

Louise has now said how she thought she would “never be able to go out anywhere again” following her high-profile split, as she she addressed her greatest personal comeback.

The singer went on to say how difficult it was people knowing about her private life, after being away from the spotlight.

She told Glamour Magazine: “For a little while I thought I would never be able to go out anywhere again.

“Just stupid little things like getting out of the car at a big event and it’s all the crowds and you think, ‘Please don’t boo me. I’ve done nothing wrong.’”

Louise continued: “That kind of panic, that sheer panic of stepping out there and realising everything’s okay and actually people aren’t that judgmental.

“… Sometimes now I forget I’m not married. Sometimes I still go, ‘My husband.’”

Her revealing comments come following the release of her first album in 15 years, Heavy Love.

She took to her Instagram page this morning to show her gratitude, while sharing a video of her singing with her 667,000 followers.

The star captioned it: “Thank you to my amazing band and my girls! Thank you for all the support at my album launch last night.

“‘Hurt’ is taken from my new album #HeavyLove which is OUT NOW.”

Meanwhile, it comes just days after Jamie Redknapp reacted to a prank, which occurred during a road trip with his A League of Their Own co-stars Freddie Flintoff and Romesh Ranganathan.

In a shock clip, the football pundit was pranked by his colleagues, and it involved none other than Gary Neville.

He could at first be heard saying, ‘Oh, no,’ as he looked down at his phone, before the cricketer took a Sky Sports-related swipe.
