Louise Redknapp, 44, took to Instagram to share a fun snap with Love Island 2019 host Caroline Flack, 39, with her 635,000 followers. The pals met up after Louise took to the stage of West End show 9 to 5: The Musical last night. The singer reposted the selfie from Caroline’s Instagram story, which showed the pair cuddling for the camera. The presenter was giggling with glee in the photo, while Louise smiled sweetly and placed her hand on her shoulder.
Caroline captioned the picture in view of her two million followers: “Dead @louiseredknapp.”
The stars previously showcased their friendship when they embarked on a night out together after the BRIT Awards in February this year, which left Caroline feeling pretty worse for wear the next day.
However, many Love Island fans were unaware of their connection until they stepped out together last night.
The Love Island favourite documented her after-party experience with Louise on the social media platform at the time.
The morning after the event, Caroline admitted to her followers: “I’ll tell you what’s a really good idea, going out the night before the BRITs and getting home at…”
She then turned to her pet pooch Ruby and asked: “What time did we get home Rubes? Do you remember? Was it 5am?”
The TV personality also revealed how tired she was after the wild night, adding the caption: “I am dying.”
Louise’s Instagram stories from the evening showed the duo partying up a storm as they pouted for selfies.
The Stretch hitmaker referred to Caroline as “My girl”, in one of the photos, showing their close friendship.
Elsewhere, Louise, who announced her split from ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 45, in 2017 told her followers she had a “handsome passenger” in the car with her last week.
Making the revelation in a video clip, the performer then turned the camera to show that her dog Rudi was her mystery companion.
Addressing her trip with the adorable animal, Louise said: “Rudi, say hey. We are going to the vets…not happy.”
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant captioned the post: “My man Rudi”.
Louise is currently focusing on her return to music and recently shared a snippet of her new single Small Talk on Instagram, which she described as “deeply personal” to her.
The song included the lyrics: “We used to be in love, we used to be inseparable.
“Now it’s a little awkward, it’s like we never met before. It’s almost like we’re strangers.
“Remember when we had it all? We used to dream big but now it’s just small talk.”
Many fans have speculated the track is based on Louise’s relationship with football pundit Jamie, with one suggesting in response to the emotional lyrics: “Sounds like you miss Jamie.”
