Singer Louise Redknapp, 45, took to Instagram yesterday to show off a new tattoo but may have dropped a cryptic clue that she’s a contestant on The Masked Singer.
The ITV show has gripped the nation this winter, with viewers desperately trying to work out who is behind the extravagantly masked characters.
Could pop star Louise, who recently starred in the West End in Dolly Parton’s musical 9 to 5, be behind the mirrored Fox?
Yesterday, Louise shared a sexy snap with her 668,000 followers, simply captioned: “LOVER.”
The image showed the songstress from behind and showcased a new tattoo on the back of her neck which also read “lover”.
Delighted fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on her new inking and praise the beauty.
Mum-of-two Louise posted a picture of the same tattoo back in November, so was their another reason for posting this snap again?
A closer look at her jewellery in the picture may reveal a hidden clue.
As well as a delicate necklace, hooped-earrings and a collection of bracelets on her wrist, Louise is also wearing two bold gold rings.
One rather large ring appears to be of an animal – a fox perhaps – and is very angular, like the costume of the mirrored Fox.
Other clues revealed on the show could also lead viewers to the same conclusion that Louise is behind the mask.
One clue stated that the unknown contestant had starred in theatre – Louise played Violet Newstead at the Savoy Theatre last year.
Another clue said the Fox could be “found in the East End”.
The singer was born in Lewisham, a district in the South east of London.
So far, guesses on the show as to the identity of the Fox have included Amanda Holden, Denise Van Outen, Samantha Womack, Rita Simons and Kellie Bright.
