Louise Redknapp: ‘Couldn’t do it without you’ Singer praises ‘mystery man’ amid big news

Louise Redknapp, 44, has recently made a return to the spotlight following her 19 year career hiatus from the music industry. The former Eternal bandmate has excited fans with her highly anticipated album release Heavy Love which is scheduled to be available in October this year. The singer took the opportunity to gush over one person in particular and admitted she “couldn’t have done it” without him. In view of her 644,000 followers, the beauty shared a series of photos of herself alongside her “showbiz manager” Wayne Russell as she wished him a Happy Birthday.

Louise captioned the snaps: “Happy birthday to the ‘Best showbiz manager’ & ‘mystery man’ haha love you mr @waynerussell78 couldn’t have done it without you.”(sic)

Wayne has been working alongside the singer as her manager following her music career comeback.

Louise was previously married to football pundit Jamie Redknapp, 45, but the couple divorced in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.

Despite their split, Louise insisted the pair still remain the best of friends as co-parents.

The former couple share two children together – 15-year-old son Charley and 10-year-old son Beau.

Meanwhile, the hitmaker has recently hinted she will be making a return to the theatre stage and reprising her role in the play 9 to 5 The Musical.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Louise shared a snap of herself basking in the summer sunshine as she held a script in her hand.

She captioned the photo: “It’s that time again @9to5themusical hope I remember I’ve got a little help from blu.”

In a second snap, she shared a snap of herself sporting a brightly coloured bikini which she teamed with a denim jacket and matching shorts.

She seemingly appeared to still be focused on stage lines, as she captioned the post: “Still going…@9to5themusicaluk”.

Earlier this year, Louise had been portraying Violet Newstead on the hit musical alongside Natalie McQueen, 30, and Amber Davies, 23, but had stepped down from the role in June.

At the time of her announcement, she shared a picture of herself posing in front of a promotional board for the show.

She wrote: “It’s my last day in the west end in @9to5themusicaluk I have had the best time and thank you to my lovely cast and to everyone who came to watch.

“See you soon Violet Newstead x.”

Meanwhile, the singer recently spoke out about the criticism she has received being in the spotlight.

During an appearance on Paul McKenna’s Positivity Podcast, Louise said: “I used to feel devastated.

“I went through a time when I was taking bullets pretty much every day of my life – people that have never met me.

“And being told that you’re a bad mum or you’ve left your children,” she revealed.

“Of course you know me, or enough of me, to know those things aren’t true,” Louise continued.
