Jacquie first had breast cancer in 2013, before going into remission, but announced last year it had sadly returned as stage three.
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast star Louise had to take an extended break from the show due to undergoing surgery for an injury, before returning to the Breakfast sofa alongside her co-host Dan Walker in December.
Louise’s foot injury was a result of the presenter not having her ankle checked earlier by doctors after sustaining an injury training for a triathlon last year.
She then revealed that she had broken a bone in her foot and had also snapped an ankle ligament.
After surgery to reconstruct, Louise admitted she had no idea how long it would take for her to fully recover.
