Lorraine Kelly's daughter calls her 'filthy' over Gogglebx trousers comments

Lorraine Kelly’s daughter called her ‘filthy’ on Celebrity Gogglebox as she commented on tight trousers worn by some men on TV.

It’s not the first time that Lorraine has commented on men’s tight clothing and this time her daughter Rosie called her out on it

The Scots born broadcaster and her daughter duo were watching a telly clip for the Channel 4 show when she made the comment.

Rosie remarked: “What is going on with these tight trousers and tight tops on boys? Why do they do it?”

And Lorraine replied: “I don’t know … is it because they work out and they want to look …”

Rosie then said: “And they want to be like, ‘look at me’ … even his trousers you can see his ankle, I don’t understand that.”

A shrieking Lorraine then laughed: “His ankle? … I thought you were going to say something else.”

And Rosie retorted: “You’re filthy mother!” as Lorraine tried to insist she wasn’t.

Lorraine’s naughty comments follow her recent observation about Stephen Mulhern on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

She said it was an ‘eyeopener’ as she obsessed about his gold hotpants on her morning show.

Lorraine and her daughter Rosie are close but don’t talk about everything.

Rosie explained: “”We talk about everything under the sun. I’m her mum, though, I’d never say I was her best friend because she’s got her friends already. I’d love to think she tells me everything but she doesn’t.

Rosie who was in Singapore during much of the pandemic was excited to get back to the UK and see her mum.

Lorraine said: “We’d been in touch, we’d been doing Zoom calls, but there’s nothing like being able to give your child a cuddle.”

“Every mother will know what I’m saying – there’s just nothing like the smell of your child’s hair. Rosie always smells so good.”

Rosie added: ‘”Being able to finally hug mum was lovely but a bit surreal.”
