Loose Women star Linda Robson has revealed that she still stays in touch with former panellist Saira Khan despite her dramatic exit from the show.
The Birds of a Feather actress chatted exclusively to the Daily Star at the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards on Saturday and called her former co-star Saira “a wonderful Loose Woman”.
She said: “I love Saira, I think she was a really good Loose Women as well. We still stay in touch. We take our kids out together, my grandchildren and her kids.”
Saira has recently revealed that she thinks her future in daytime television is likely over after she admitted she “tolerated” her Loose Women co-stars after she quit the ITV panel show earlier this year.

The 50-year-old star announced her departure from the ITV talk show after rumours started circulating of a rift with co-stars Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha, Coleen Nolan, and Carol McGiffin.
Saira voiced her opinion on social media and revealed her reasons for leaving the popular daytime TV favourite, whose other hosts include Linda, Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter, Gloria Hunniford, Stacey Solomon and Brenda Edwards.

“Right then – let’s put this baby to bed! Is there anyone out there who totally loves and gets on with all their colleagues in their organisation?” she asked.
Off the back of Saira’s comment, the Daily Star asked Linda about any behind the scenes feuds and her stance on her co-stars.
Linda said: “We don’t really get p****d off with another, we all get on really well honestly we really really do.

“There’s not one woman that I don’t want to be on with, it’s like going to work with your mates every day.”
The star also revealed that she would love to go back to acting but hasn’t been given the chance.
Linda added: “I’d love to go back to acting, I never get the b****y chance.
“I would love to do a nice drama, I would love to be a serial killer or something.”

She also went on to tell an awkward tale of when her former Birds of a Feather co-star Lesley Joseph had a blunder with her swimming costume.
The pair have recently filmed for the new series of Channel 4’s Celebrity Coach Trip, in which the friends went on a trip to Portugal.
Linda exclusively chatted with the Daily Star and said that during a swimming challenge with the other cast members, Lesley started to feel unwell.

The Loose Women panellist explained: “I’ve just done Celebrity Coach Trip we were touring all around Portugal with Lesley Joseph.
“I can’t tell you who won but there were Olympians and everything in there as well. The two old birds did well though, I tell ya…”
She added: “We were doing a synchronised swimming event and Miss Joseph had a funny tummy and so she goes into the changing room with her swimming costume on in one way, and then comes out with it on inside out.”
It has not been confirmed yet when the new series will air, but fans will be sure to keep an eye out for the iconic duo on the hit programme.
