A quarter of a century ago, his mum Liz Hurley dropped jaws when she stepped out in a dress held together with safety pins.
Now, Damian Hurley has paid tribute to his mother by donning a Versace suit decorated with matching pin embellishments.
The 17-year-old model attended an event in the swish London department store Selfridges on Thursday, posing for photos in the stylish black suit.
Double-breasted, the suit jacket featured massive gold safety pins running down one side.
With his brunette locks blown out, some chic gold and silver jewellery and the signature Hurley pout, the teenager was the spitting image of his model mum.
Back in 1994, Liz wore a near-identical Versace ensemble to the premiere of romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Walking arm-in-arm with her then-boyfriend Hugh Grant, she looked radiant in a black plunging evening gown that stretched at the seams, held in place by metal pins.
Speaking about the gown at the time, the 54-year-old said: “That dress was a favour from Versace because I couldn’t afford to buy one.”
The evening gown received backlash at first, with harsh critics labelling it as “too revealing”.
Hitting back at the haters, Liz responded: “Unlike many other designers, Versace designs clothes to celebrate the female form rather than eliminate it.”
After a brief fling with US businessman Steve King in the early 2000s, Liz fell pregnant with Damian in 2002.
Posting a snap of his get-up to Instagram, the teen actor’s followers were bowled over by their stunning resemblance.
One gasped: “Safety pin flashback! Love it.”
While a second exclaimed: “You look so much like your mom!”
Damian seems to have hit the jackpot – not only did he inherit his mother’s cracking sense of style, but he also landed her striking good looks.
