Liverpool team news: Predicted 4-3-3 line up vs Watford – Klopp's Salah and Mane decision

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be keen to ensure his team bounce back from a below par performance against West Ham on Monday night. The Reds came from behind to win 3-2 but showed signs of complacency before they turned it on to earn all three points.

Saturday’s visit to Watford could be a potential banana skin though with the Hornets fighting for their lives in the battle to beat the drop.

Watford have already taken points off Manchester United and Tottenham at Vicarage Road since Nigel Pearson took over from Quique Sanchez Flores.

Liverpool won the return fixture 2-0 at Anfield but were given a tough afternoon, with Watford squandering several chances in the first half.

The Reds will be full strength with their normal backline of Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold in front of Alisson.

Fabinho will play at the base of midfield, despite his shaky return to the side.

Jordan Henderson is not expected to return until March after picking up a hamstring in the 1-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid.

The indispensable Gini Wijnaldum will make up the midfield contingent.

With the crucial second leg with Atletico on the horizon, Liverpool boss Klopp will consider resting Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.

But this is not the game to do it and he is unlikely to risk making that decision.

Divock Origi failed to impress at the Wanda Metropolitano when he came on for Mane at half-time.

Roberto Firmino has been slightly out of form but the front three can smell the title now and will be looking to ensure they win it as soon as possible.

Liverpool then face Chelsea in midweek in the FA Cup, but Klopp has already made it clear he will prioritise the Premier League.

Liverpool XI to face Watford (4-3-3): Alisson; Robertson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Mane, Firmino.
