‘It’d be a thousand times better than doing a show that wasn’t ready’: Little Mix announce they’ve had to postpone their Australian tour in order to promote new single Bounce Back
British pop supergroup Little Mix recently announced they had to postpone their highly anticipated Australian LM5 tour.
But they’ve assured fans that they won’t be disappointed when they finally make it to our shores at the end of the year.
Talking on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Friday, the Woman Like Me hitmakers said they had to delay the show in order to ensure the show was the best it could be.

‘We just thought postponing it would be a thousand times better than doing a show that wasn’t ready,’ band member Perrie Edwards said.
The 25-year-old told James that the band of four are perfectionists, saying: ‘If it isn’t going to be the best show possible, it is not going to be good enough.’
Perrie also revealed that part of the reason they postponed was so they could release the new single, Bounce Back, and properly promote it.

‘When we heard this song we basically loved it so much we wanted to get it out,’ Perrie continued.
‘We wouldn’t have had time to prepare for the Australian tour because of the time needed for the single, so that’s why we postponed it.’
The last time Little Mix toured Australia was in 2017 for their Glory Days Tour.
And while they claim it has nothing to do with the postponement, the girls are excited to be coming during Australia’s warmer months.

‘We always go there when it is cold so we want to go to the beach,’ member Leigh-Anne Pinnock said.
The shows, which were originally slated for July, have now been pushed back to December, starting in Perth on December 7, then moving onto to all original stops including Adealaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and before wrapping in Sydney on December 14.
All tickets purchased for the July dates will gain entry to the December dates.
