Line of Duty cast member Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) stripped off as he prepared to get down and dirty with ex-girlfriend Sam Railston.
However, things soon got awkward are the DS suffered from erectile dysfunction during the heated moment.
The moment came after Steve reconciled with ex Sam and the pair ran upstairs to enjoy a steamy bedroom romp.
However Steve had to stop midway through and was left crying in the toilet after suffering from the erectile dysfunction.
The problem may have been due to an incident which saw Steve pushed down a flight of stairs by ‘balaclava man’ during the fourth series.
Others may think it could be due to stress of his boss Ted Hasting (Adrian Dunbar) being questioned over whether he’s ‘H’.
One Twitter user exclaimed: “All the stress from the OCG (organised crime group) means Steve is having a FTE (failure to erect).”
While another added: “Steve has got Hastings’s blocked toilet on his mind, no wonder he can’t have sex.”
A third simply added: “Poor Steve.”
Last night’s episode saw Hastings arrested on the suspicion of being ‘H’ – he criminal mastermind behind pretty much every case the AC-12 gang have had to tackle.
However, some BBC viewers think the AC-12 senior investigating officer is being set up.
Many suspect lawyer Gill Biggeloe (Polly Walker) is actually the one who is the mysterious ‘H’.
But are they right?
Line of Duty airs Sundays on BBC One at 9pm.
