Lily Allen stalker hell as she's threatened with ‘a knife through her face’

The Smile hitmaker appeared on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio earlier this morning to discuss her career and tell-all book.

Lily Allen, 34, released her book My Thoughts Exactly last year to critical acclaim, documenting her life in the limelight and musical success.

During her chat, Lily discussed her friendship with George Lamb, her love life, and her stalker hell.

Speaking to Chris Evans, she explained her stalker ordeal, which ended up with the unnamed man behind bars.

Recounting the story, she said: “He broke into my house at 2am in October 2015. Initially I thought it was my ex-husband.

“I was with my new boyfriend at the time, and I thought it was my ex-husband because he had a key.

“When I came to my bedroom door there was someone there that I didn’t know.

Lilly revealed he had been “stalking her seven years prior to the breaking in incident.”

She continued: “During the police interview, he told them he was going to put a knife through my face.”

“I went to his bail hearing and then I went for his first day and his last day. I went because I had no confirmation they had the right person because I don’t trust the police.

“I went to go and see if it was him. He was banging on the glass and then the judge saw how aggressive he was.”

The aftermath of her sharing her stalker horror was praised by a female detective,  who subsequently messaged Lily.

She said: “She contacted me to tell me she had dealt with lots of these types of things before, and after reading about my account, she said she would deal with them differently, and that was really amazing.”

Looking past the record sales, Lily said: “I want to contribute in a way that is useful.”
