LIDL is launching its latest range of summer items this week, including a kids water slide and an inflatable kayak which costs less than £40.

The supermarket will have the range in shops from Thursday, July 23.

Lidl doesn’t have an online operation, meaning you will have to visit your local store to get your hands on any of the products.

With two different designs to choose from – jungle or ocean – this six metre slide simply connects to a standard garden hose.

Once you have got it hooked up to the water supply there are fine jets along the entire surface, plus a landing cushion at the end.

It also comes with two pegs to keep it in the ground and a repair patch.

For £7.99 it is a pretty good deal: this similar slide from Robert Dyas is currently £12.99.

Transform your garden into a fun water park with this giant paddling pool with water sprayer, slide and inflatables.

There are two designs to choose from: the jungle version comes with a ring toss game with four rings, a ball game with six balls, and a gorilla punch bag.

Meanwhile the underwater version has two different ball games with six balls, a jellyfish punch bag and two ring toss games with four rings.

Again, this looks like quite good value for what you get: Argos has a similar adventure pool for £30 but it doesn’t have as many accessories.

It has 50+ UV protection, meaning their skin will be protected against sun damage.

It comes in a range of sizes, suitable for kids from one to six years.

Lots of shops sell similar sun suits, but this is one of the cheapest we found.

Asda had been stocking this suit which was on sale for £4, but it is currently out of stock.
