Liam Payne has just gone and poked fun at his Ascot outfit.

The 25-year-old was enjoying his day at the races when he took to Instagram to share a joke with his 17.5million followers.

Uploading a picture of himself wearing a suit and a red tie, which he had paired with a top hat, the Strip That Down hitmaker laughed off the fact he resembled the Monopoly man.

Sharing a cartoon of the character, he wrote: ‘Have you ever seen me and the Monopoly man in the same room.’

Fans were quick to comment and couldn’t help but draw comparisons.

‘Can’t deny that you do both look alike,’ one teased, while another added: ‘Stream monopoly by ariana grande & victoria monet.’

Others were left in stitches: ‘You are such a meme,’ they called him.

And it seems the father-of-one is not the only one who is making fun of the Ascot pictures going through our feeds this week.

Nope, Lorraine Kelly has also made her thoughts very loud and clear when commenting on Piers Morgan’s racing pics.

As he posed with Dame Joan Collins and his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid, the controversial presenter joked he was a ‘rose between two thorns.’

However, it seems the snap caught his fellow ITV presenter’s eye, who quipped: ‘So lovely of those two glorious women to talk their auld granda out for the day.’

Piers and Lorraine have had on going beef since her awkward moment with Esther McVey.

Lorraine surprisingly ‘broke character’ to snub the Conservative MP on live TV, claiming not to remember her from her days as a presenter on breakfast programme GMTV.

Following a debate about Jo Brand’s controversial joke about throwing acid at politicians, Piers led into the usual segment with Lorraine explaining what was coming up on her show that day.

He said: ‘Talking of someone who’s never offensive, Lorraine Kelly.’

Lorraine pulled an awkward face as Susanna added: ‘Oh I don’t know…’
