Lefties hang ‘utterly vile’ banner in Manchester urging people to ‘kill Tories’

LEFTIES have put up an “utterly vile” banner urging people to kill Tories as the party arrive for their conference in Manchester.

A sick poster was hung up near the River Irwell which read: “130,000 killed under Tory rule. Time to level the playing field.”

Manchester’s Mayor Andy Burnham confirmed that the hateful banner – complete with fake bodies hanging from ropes – was being taken down by police today.

Tory Councillor Kerry Boyd posted on Twitter this morning: “Neve(r) have I felt more apprehensive than seeing this in my morning run pre #CPC19. Does this classify as death/terrorist threat? Utterly vile.”

Momentum’s Manchester account tweeted a picture of the banner with the message: “Good morning @Conservatives. Welcome to Manchester.”

It comes after a similar banner with the words “Hang the Tories” was put from a bridge at the Tory’s conference in Manchester two years ago.

And the news comes days after a huge row broke out over political language in the House of Commons this week.

Labour MPs slammed Boris for using the word “surrender” and urged him to temper his language.

Bur Boris has stood firm and insisted he wouldn’t stop using the phrase to describe the Benn Act – as he insisted it would force him to hand over all his cards to the EU in Brexit talks.

If the PM doesn’t get a deal by the middle of October a new law will kick in urging him to secure a third extension to our EU exit.

But he’s insisted he won’t do so – and at the same time will obey the law.
