In May 2016, the actor revealed his battle with Billie’s mum, Mandy Kane Kent, in front of a 300-strong audience during the opening night of his tour in Manchester.
Speaking on stage at Manchester’s The Deaf Institute, Fox dedicated his song So Be Damned, written about a warring couple, to Mandy.
He told the crowds: “This is a song about my soon to be ex mother-in-law. I s*** you not. I s*** you not.
“She’s a wonderful woman actually, I’ve got no beef with her. Do I? Yeah I do, I’ve got a beef with her, man.”
