Immortals Gaming Club’s Los Angeles Valiant franchise has announced a trio of sponsors for this weekend’s Kit Kat Rivalry Weekend Overwatch League homestand event.

The event, which takes place on Aug. 24-25 at The Novo at LA Live, will feature league sponsor Bud Light and 1st Century Bank as founding partners, as well as Nitto Tire as an associate partner.

Candy brand Kit Kat is the homestand weekend’s entitlement sponsor, and will activate in multiple ways. Attendees will receive Kit Kat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate bars, which are not yet available in stores, plus the brand will have Kit Kat Splash Tanks that see fans competing while being suspended over 500 gallons of water. All players (even those dunked in the water) will earn a year’s supply of Kit Kat bars, while the winning team will have a donation made in its name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Meanwhile, Bud Light will host activations on the fourth floor of The Novo, with a Bud Light Lounge providing attendees premium seating and specialized snacks inspired by the Valiant’s YouTube content series, “Gamer Snacks.” Some attendees will also be awarded access to the Bud Light VIP Lounge.

Both 1st Century Bank and Nitto Tire will also activate onsite during the weekend, along with St. Jude’s, the Valiant’s official non-profit partner. St. Jude’s will have a hospitality zone that will accept donations from attendees in exchange for access to an area where they can relax and charge their phones.

“Kit Kat Rivalry Weekend is a preview of the fan experience we will deliver in Los Angeles and southern California for both Overwatch League and Call of Duty events in 2020 and beyond,” said Immortals Gaming Club CEO Ari Segal. “We believe strongly that live events are catalysts for fan and community development, and we look forward to hosting differentiated events that are compelling and engaging experiences, both live and digitally.”

The Valiant also announced that it will host two Overwatch League homestand weekends for the 2020 season on April 18-19 and Aug. 8-9, both at The Novo at LA Live.
