Kirsten Stewart couldn’t keep the smile off her face, joking with fans and pulling faces, as she walked the red carpet at Venice Film Festival.

Kristen was also pictured throwing up the peace sign and larking around in front the cameras as the actress’ political thriller Seberg premiered at the festival.

She was joined by her castmates Zazie Beetz and Jack O’Connell as they attended the ceremony.

Seberg is about 1960s ‘It’ girl Jean Seberg who found herself at the centre of a FBI investigation when she became romantically involved with a Black Panther.

A political thriller also starring Jack, Anthony Mackie and Margaret Qualley, the film is classic Kristen Stewart featuring political intrigue and a ‘f**k you’ attitude from a woman ahead of her time.

A day before she spoke about politics and how’s she’s not afraid to voice her opinion, during a press conference for the film.

‘It’s not hard for me to wear my politics,’ she said when asked if political causes still need movie stars today.

‘It shows up in the work I do…In [public] conversations that I have…I like that interaction. I’m so lucky to have it!’

‘There’s just something classically more existential and realistic in terms of what it feels like to actually live a life and have a brain and live amongst people that might have different ones rather than telling these compact perfect stories,’ she later told Deadline about tackling stories that don’t always have a happy ending.
