Kimora Lee Simmons proved she has a heart of gold as she helped out the residents of Skid Row Housing Trust’s Star Apartments in Los Angeles this Tuesday.

The Baby Phat founder, 45, carried trays of food into the establishment while followed by her five kids.

Fashion mogul Simmons looked radiant while giving back wearing a white baby tee from her own line with tight jeans.

She was happy to protect herself and her community from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, donning a cloth face mask with the Baby Phat emblem on it.

Talking about her commitment to the cause, Kimora said: ‘I’ve always said: “Live Large, Give Large.” Our family defines prestige as the impact we can have on other people’s lives.

‘Doing right by people isn’t only providing a hot meal; it’s by treating people with dignity and respect. As a mom of 5, it’s always been important to me to instill that lesson in my kids,’ she went on.

Skid Row Housing Trust provides permanent supportive housing so that people who have experienced homelessness, prolonged extreme poverty, poor health, disabilities, mental illness and/or addiction can lead safe, stable lives in wellness.

Star Apartments provides permanent supportive housing to people experiencing homelessness using innovative modular pre-fabricated units that are cantilevered over a two-story concrete superstructure designed to inspire the surrounding community.
