Kerry Katona has revealed her fears for Katie Price after her ex Kieran Hayler announced his engagement to Michelle Penticost.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 39, says she is over the moon for Kieran and Michelle but is concerned how the new might affect Katie.
Katie and Kieran were married from 2013 until 2017, and the couple are still in the midst of divorce proceedings.
Kerry wrote in her new! Magazine column: ‘How about the news that Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler is engaged to his partner Michelle Penticost, then?
‘I know Kieran and I’m really happy for him, but I’m also good mates with Kate and in a way I do feel sorry for her. I’m worried it’ll mess her head up.’
She added: ‘Even though she was keen for everyone to move on with their lives, it’s always hard to see your ex with someone else.
‘It always makes you wonder, “What if?” Believe me, I’ve been there myself! I just hope everyone involved gets their happy ending.’
It comes after Kieran was said to have popped the question to Michelle during their recent holiday to the Maldives, with Michelle reportedly confirming the news on Facebook.
Katie and Kieran share two children, Bunny, five, and Jett, six, and co-parent with the kids spending time with both their mum and dad.
The former glamour model, 41, also recently deleted her Instagram account after telling her followers she would be taking time off social media following the death of Caroline Flack.
She wrote: ‘I’ve decided to take a break from this horrible media world. I’m absolutely heart broken… I’m having a dramatic change in my life for the better.
‘I don’t want to have to read or see anything in the press about me, my family & friends or my exes. This has all got to stop!’
