Keke Palmer looked like a knockout in her new music video for the song Serious which debuted on Monday morning.
The clip seemed to touch on her recent ugly split from baby daddy Darius Jackson where she obtained a restraining order against him. Together they have a newborn son named Leo.
The Serious video shows her being left for dead on a remote mountain overlooking a big city, but she wakes up to belt out the tune.
Later, the 30-year-old is seen singing to a handsome man with no shirt on as she lets him know she is not happy that he wronged her.
The entire song is about how he ruined their relationship and now she is left wondering if he ever loved her in the first place.
‘What do you do when you’re left for dead? Serious video out now!’ wrote the crooner in her Instagram caption.
New music video: Keke Palmer looked like a knockout in her new music video for the song Serious which debuted on Monday morning
Drama: The theme of the music video is about being in love with then let down by a man
Left for dead: A man in a suit and tie takes her out of the trunk of a vintage Mustang and dumps her on the ground at the start of the clip
In the clip a man in a dark suit parks his blue Mustang then opens the trunk to carry Keke out.
He lays her down on a blue moving drop cloth before saying into his cell phone, ‘Mission accomplished’ and driving off.
Keke, in all black, opens her eyes and looks around in shock and terror at the twinkling cityscape below her after being left for dead.
She then belts out, ‘You never read the signs, maybe you should analyze because you can’t see what’s in front of you’ before she croons about being a wronged woman.
A man is seen in the shower and then in bed with her as they appear to be intimate. She has on black lingerie and he has on nothing but black underwear.
Then she is seen drugging him and dragging him into a room. He is still shirtless as he is seen chained to a round table.
‘Put your pride aside, what’s really going on inside your mind to think you didn’t cross the line,’ she sings.
Keke then says that he ‘made his bed’ and now he lays alone.
At first all seems good between Keke and her shirt-free mystery man as they roll around in bed
Then she is seen alone on the black satin sheets as she models lingerie
Another look: She is also seen in a gold raincoat which she opens to expose black lingerie
She added that he said he loved her but she doesn’t know now if he does.
Palmer is then seen in the video looking at the man who now has electronic pads attached to his temples. It appears as if she is trying to read his mind.
The siren is also seen with a gold coat over black strappy lingerie as she smolders with deep red lipstick on.
Keke recently accused Darius of being physically abusive towards her.
According to legal documents obtained by People, he must stay at least 100 yards away from both Keke and their child Leo for the time being.
When asked by Interview magazine earlier this month what she thought of ‘baby daddies,’ she did not mention the restraining order.
But she seemed to hint to her bad split.
Next she puts a cloth over the man’s nose and mouth which makes him pass out
She wears white stiletto heels with anklets as she drags him on the floor
He looks passed put as she moves him from the bathroom to another room
Palmer now has on a black-and-white blazer as she sits in a white armchair

She also seems to try to read his mind as there are electric circuits on his temples
She described becoming pregnant in a non-traditional method as a ‘fabulous’ alternative to the traditional method of getting pregnant.
She said: ‘S***, we all got one. Unless you went the other route, which we all know is fabulous, thanks to technology.’
And she said that she feels ‘stronger’ since she became a mother.
The actress has eight-month-old Leo with Jackson and admitted that everything about herself has ‘changed’ since he arrived.
And she has learned to love herself ‘a lot more’ in the process.
She told Interview magazine: ‘[Motherhood is] amazing, exhausting. It changes everything about you. It’s made me a lot stronger and really love myself a lot more, because you want to be the very best you can for this person that deserves the best of you.’
With her ex: Keke and Darius attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles at Will Rogers State Historic Park in 2021 in Pacific Palisades, California
Meanwhile, the Nope actress shot to fame as a teenager when she was given the title role of True Jackson, VP on Nickelodeon.
But she went on to insist that childhood stardom is something that should ‘never’ be actively sought out because it can ‘stunt’ growth as she explained why she was recently ‘relieved’ to have reached her 30th birthday.
She said: ‘[It’s] sooky-ooky, and quite a lot to deal with. Child stardom is something that you should never seek, but if it happens, it happens. It can honestly kind of stunt you if you’re not too careful.
‘[When I turned 30,] I felt relieved, first of all, because I’m still alive. I’ve learned from the 20s, which were truly overrated. Now I’m ready to enjoy the 30s and really dip into my bag and let all these b****** know!’
