Keira Knightley is expecting her second child with her husband, James Righton. The actor debuted her bump in a bespoke Chanel cream chiffon dress paired with metallic sandals, while stepping out for the brand’s annual J12 cocktail party in Place Vendôme in Paris on May 2.
Knightley, who has had a long-standing relationship with the brand since 2006, welcomed her first child, Edie Knightley Righton, in 2015. Righton and Knightley have been married since 2013, after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in France. Previously, she has noted that women don’t receive enough credit for the “physical and emotional marathon they go through when becoming a mother.”
Knightley continued: “I come from a place of amazing privilege. I have an incredible support system; I’ve been unbelievably lucky in my career; I can afford good childcare, and yet I still find it really f*cking difficult,” she said, before adding, “It’s OK to say that.”
Other guests included Lily-Rose Depp and her mother Vanessa Paradis. Depp wore a classic Chanel two-piece suit with black pumps.
Naomi Campbell was also in attendance wearing a black Chanel floor-length cape paired with high-waisted trousers.
Chanel’s Cruise 2020 show is due to take place on May 3.
