Elsewhere, Katya is starring in The Wizard of Oz over the festive period and had previously made the announcement in a Twitter post back in June.
Speaking about her role, she gushed: “It’s perfect. It’s so exciting and I’ve never done anything like this before so it keeps me going during Christmas time.
“It just came around at the right time. Something completely new and challenging which I love.”
She added: “I’m dancing on stage which is always a positive, burning calories and lots of energy. I also have one line to sing.”
The Wizard of Oz will be playing at Peterborough theatre until December 31.
