Katie Price’s son Harvey is in intensive care, the mum-of-five has confirmed.

Harvey was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention on Sunday and is said to be at risk of organ failure after his temperature shot up to 42 degrees.

Addressing the news on social media, Katie posted to her fans: ‘I can confirm that Harvey is in intensive care and in the best hands.

‘I would like to thank the ambulance services and the hospital staff for the quick response and making him stable.’

A rep for Katie previously announced that Harvey’s condition is ‘very dangerous’ and Katie ‘is terrified’.

They continued to The Sun: ‘He has a temperature of 42 degrees and is struggling to breathe. One of his conditions is adrenal failure that could cause his organs to fail and is very dangerous.’

Harvey was recently taken to hospital at the end of last month for ‘urgent medical care’ after falling ill at his sister Princess’s 13th birthday celebrations.

The 18-year-old, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, was treated by doctors and was discharged the same day.

Harvey is blind and autistic, with Prader-Willi syndrome also affecting his speech and movement.

Last week, Katie revealed that she hopes her eldest son Harvey will die before her.

Speaking about his condition, the glamour model said she was warned by health experts that he is at serious risk of dying from a heart attack if they don’t make changes.

‘The doctors have told me he’s at high risk of having a heart attack,’ she told the Sun. ‘I know it’s horrible to say, but I wish he’d go before me because he wouldn’t cope without me.’
