Katie Price ignored ‘countless warnings’ from neighbours that her dogs were at risk before puppy was killed by car

KATIE Price ignored “countless” warnings from neighbours about the safety of her dogs before her puppy was run over and killed.

The 41-year-old took to Instagram to tell fans her Alsatian Sparkle had died – her third pet to be killed by a vehicle in two years.

But despite the previous tragedies, Katie did nothing to make her animals more secure.

A source said: “The neighbours have CCTV facing the lane outside of Katie’s property and very frequently have seen the dogs outside of her property at all times of day and night.

“One neighbour, who feeds the dogs when she isn’t in, has passed on countless messages telling Katie of this, but she has chosen to ignore any warnings and not secure her house and the fencing around it.

“The result is another dog has been needlessly killed, and it’s totally unfair the neighbours have been blamed.”

The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Katie for comment.

Katie’s German Shepherd was hit by a car on the A24 in Horsham, with locals forced to pull the animal’s body out of the road.

She has been reported to the RSCPA after the accident, that came two years after another of her dogs, Queenie, was killed by a takeaway driver and one of her horses died on the same stretch of road after being hit by a car.

An angry local, who asked not to be named, told The Sun: “Katie’s got this menagerie of animals but she’s not fit enough to look after them.

“It’s like she’s given up and isn’t bothered they’re roaming around without any supervision.

“Having to drag a dog’s lifeless body out of the road is traumatic.

“This is the second dog she’s lost in two years now.

“And the others she’s got are always escaping, it’s a joke. She shouldn’t be allowed to keep animals.”

Katie’s security dog, Bear, has also been caught running around the local lanes close to her house in West Sussex.

The former glamour model blamed her neighbours for allowing Sparkle to escape and said she was angry to find out the pedigree dog had died.

Katie said in a statement: “I’m really p****d off this morning. I’ve just woken to realise that one of my dogs has been killed on the road.

“I’ve just checked with the neighbours and everything seems to be how it was when they left the dogs.

“I don’t know how they’ve escaped but, yeah, one of my Alsatians has been hit and killed.

“I was away last night with my PA. I left my neighbours to feed the dogs because that’s what they do when I’m not there.

“I lock them away and something’s obviously happened in the night.”
