Katie Price has defended herself after she cancelled her appearance at a make-up masterclass at LA Studio in Worthing at the last minute.
The former glamour model, 41, was due to host a masterclass, with tickets costing £80 each, at the venue on Wednesday with make-up artist Zoe James.
Fans were left disappointed when they received a last minute email informing them the event would be rescheduled because Katie had fallen ill.

The email, obtained by MailOnline, reads: ‘We are so sorry to cancel tonight’s event. Zoe & Katie are both really ill. We are going to reschedule the event.
‘As a sorry, we will gift extra in the goody bags in the next masterclass. We will email soon with further details. Sorry again x.’
It was reported that Katie had travelled to Amsterdam shortly after cancelling the event and was then seen partying in a nightclub.
However, she quickly took to her Instagram Stories and insisted the accusations were false and she was genuinely too ill to attend the event.

Filming herself in bed, Katie said: ‘I haven’t even been to Amsterdam. That person isn’t me. I’m not even that big and my hairs a lot longer than that. What absolute b******t. I’m actually in bed, still ill.
‘I was actually with my accountant and my brother yesterday so they can vouch that I’m really ill and I’ve been in bed all night and I’m staying in bed all day.’

The venue had put up a a branding board in the corner of the room for Katie to have her picture taken while there were champagne flutes lined up on the counters.
Some fans had travelled to the venue from as far as Slough and said they had received the email from Katie’s team about the event being cancelled at 5pm with the event scheduled for a 6pm sharp start.

‘I would advise that you would go to the website that you have booked the tickets through and they will absolutely help you. Once again we are really sorry that you have been let down.
‘I hope you can understand that this is a self employed lash techs post. This has absolutely nothing to do with the event and we have no control over it. I will absolutely pass your comments on.’
