Katie Price compared to waxwork as vicious trolls rip into 'shocking' frozen face

The former glamour model’s love affair with nipping and tucking has been well documented over the years, with the 41-year-old admitting she’s happy to use the procedures available to her to stop ageing in its tracks.

However, her latest selfie divided opinion, as fans accused the blonde of taking her plastic fantastic look too far.

Katie had taken to Instagram to gush over her latest makeup look to her two million followers.

“Just genuinely want to say thank you to Zoe James for doing my make up for the races today!” she wrote.

“And no this isn’t a post in exchange for free makeup, I paid! Just felt good today,” she added.

In the shot, Katie’s hair was tied back into tumbling waves and she wore a ruffled floral blouse.

Meanwhile her dramatic makeup look included frosted pink lip gloss, heavy contouring, sculpted brows and smoky eyeshadow.

While some couldn’t get enough of the glamorous look, others cruelly accused Katie of ruining her looks.

“This is a waxwork isn’t it? You are tricking us Katie Price right?” one jeered.

“No, so not right, you used to look beautiful, [this is] shocking,” another chimed in.

A third chimed in: “I think you are such a good soul and hurting for your mum, but have to say that you look like a statue.”

Others viciously compared Katie to everything from Barbie to a drag queen for her choice of makeup.

Fortunately there were plenty of super fans to fend off the critics, urging them to “get a life” and “leave Katie alone”.

The furore comes after Katie Price unveiled the results of her latest facelift on her Quest Red reality show Katie Price: My Crazy Life.

Opening up on radio show FLEX FM about her ever-changing looks, she joked: “If I got arrested a lot of times, my mug shot, bloody hell, what are they going to do with it? I look different in every single one.

“But that’s me, the ever-changing Pricey, I’m a chameleon.”
