Kate Tempest joins All Points East line-up as festival introduces breaking acts stage

Kate Tempest has joined the line-up for All Points East this May.

It just keeps getting better and better.

The Mercury Prize nominated rapper and poet will join The Chemical Brothers on Friday 24 May, and those with tickets already have plenty to look forward to, with Tempest teaming her words with an electronic soundtrack.

As well as Kate, Fat White Family, Temples, Amyl and the Sniffers, BC Camplight, Yak, Angie McMahon, Dream Wife, Our Girl, Willie J Healey, Demob Happy and Kojaque are new additions to the line-up at Victoria Park, London.

Dublin rapper Kojaque will be playing on Sunday with Christine and The Queens, while the rest of the acts will be playing on the Saturday, which is headlined by The Strokes.

BC Camplight, Yak, Willie J Healey and Our Girl will be playing on the Yala! Records stage for upcoming acts.

The first weekend of All Points East is gearing up to be a blinder, with a line-up boasting headliners The Chemical Brothers, The Strokes and Christine and The Queens, and performances from James Blake, Beach House, Interpol, The Raconteurs, Metronomy, Primal Scream and Hot Chip.

The following weekend will see sets from Bring Me The Horizon, Mumford & Sons and Bon Iver.
