But Kate Hudson combated the Colorado cold by layering up in a Yeti-inspired coat as she enjoyed a meal with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa and friends in Aspen on Thursday.
The 40-year-old actress was spotted happily flinging her arms around her 33-year-old musician partner and smiling broadly.

Before the trio took shelter from the cold inside, Kate showed off her eccentric outfit, dominated by a furry shin-length coat.
Underneath, she wore a thick ski coat and turtle neck jumper to brave the -12 degree (10.4 F) cold.
She completed her outfit with some skin tight blue jeans and a pair of white boots.
The natural beauty sported a makeup free face and put her hair into a messy up do as she arrived with her friend who wore a brown faux fur coat and clutched a Louis Vuitton bag.

Their 14-month-old daughter Rani wan’t present, having earlier been seen on the Aspen excursion on Christmas Eve when the family were out shopping.
On that occasion Hudson showed her winter wardrobe once again by wearing a black winter coat with blue jeans and held Rani in a baby carrier while the little one sucked on a purple pacifier during their walk.
Fujikawa first met Hudson when she was just 23, through mutual friends Sara and Erin Foster, but they didn’t start dating until 2016.

The pair met through Kate’s best friends, Sara and Erin Foster, who are Danny’s stepsisters.
In April last year the pair announced, via the actress’ Instagram page, that they were expecting their first child.
Rani was born in October and named after Danny’s dad Ron.
Explaining the choice of name, which is pronounced ‘Ronnie’, Kate said: ‘We have decided to name our daughter Rani after her (paternal) grandfather, Ron Fujikawa.
‘Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.’

Hudson has two older kids from previous relationships, 15-year-old son Ryder from her marriage to Chris Robinson and eight-year-old son Bingham with Matt Bellamy.
It seems like Kate was busy ahead of the holidays. She was seen shopping with her 15-year-old on Sunday, at one point holding a bag from the fashion label Rag & Bone.
Hudson also took to Instagram on Saturday to share a fashion shot, captioned, ‘Pacifier jewelry is trending…so are fanny packs. And what do you travel in #HappyHolidays’
Hudson hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2017’s Marshall, but she has two new movies in post-production.
She stars in the musical drama simply titled Music, with Maddie Ziegler, Tig Notaro and Leslie Odom Jr., which marks the writing and directing debut of singer Sia.
The actress also stars in Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, the latest from indie director Ana Lily Amirpour (The Bad Batch), starring Ed Skrein and Craig Robinson.
