Kate Beckinsale returns to Instagram after getting candid on ‘shocking’ interest in Pete Davidson romance

Kate Beckinsale has made her return to Instagram after all her images disappeared from the platform last Friday.

The 45-year-old actress, who currently only has one image on the site, shared a glamorous shot of herself in a three piece suit.

She captioned the image: “Back to business. Also this is not a plant it is a painfully attached tail.”

Beckinsale’s caption hinted at her recent Instagram wipe after all the images on her profile appeared to have been deleted .

The fresh start comes after the Widow star got candid on the media attention around her relationship with 25-year-old comedian Pete Davidson.

Beckinsale told how the paparazzi’s interest in the couple’s 20 year age gap could’ve been a problem if she “liked the person less”.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the star admitted: “I’m surprised by the interest. I’ve never been in this position before – never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief.

“It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not.”

Beckinsale and Davidson were first linked in January after they were snapped leaving the Golden Globes after-party together.

Earlier this month, the duo appeared to confirm the romance as were photographed sharing a kiss at a New York ice hockey game.

Davidson shared a whirlwind romance with pop princess Ariana Grande last year, which saw the duo briefly get engaged before splitting.

Last week Grande hinted that she still “loves” Davidson after she shared a cryptic post about “letting someone go because they can’t help but hurt you during this phase of their life”.
