Juventus have begun talks to re-sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.

Pogba’s form at United improved after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as manager in September but towards the end of the campaign the midfielder’s performances dipped.

The French World Cup winner is reportedly keen to leave Old Trafford this summer and is wanted by Zinedine Zidane as part of his major squad re-build at Real Madrid.

But Sky Sport Italia report that Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici has approached Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola and United to discuss a potential deal.

United are reportedly demanding more than the £89 million they paid to re-sign Pogba from Juve in August 2016.

The Serie A champions are also understood to be considering including some of their players as part of the deal.

Paulo Dybala and Joao Cancelo have both been heavily linked with a move to United in recent months.

Pogba initially joined Juventus from United in a £1.5m deal in 2012 and won four Serie A titles during this time in Turin.
