Just when we thought Justin Bieber was retiring from music, the newlywed goes and drops a single with Ed Sheeran.

Biebs and Ed released their new song I Don’t Care this morning after days of teasing it on social, and it’s definitely a banger thanks to the classic Ed writing paired with Justin’s catchy voice. What more could you want from a summer tune?

Justin was spotted strolling through New York this morning, looking casual in jeans and trainers. Guess he’s pretty chill about new music nowadays.

The song is thought to be a tribute to both the singers’ wives. Ed, who is believed to have married Cherry Seaborn, sings about how his love makes everything feel better.

He wrote: ‘Cause I don’t care when I’m with my baby, yeah, all the bad things disappear. And you’re making me feel like maybe I am somebody. I can deal with the bad nights, when I’m with my baby, yeah.’

While Justin, who is married to model Hailey Baldwin, sings about his ‘crippling anxiety’: ‘With all these people all around, I’m crippled with anxiety, but I’m told it’s where we’re s’posed to be. You know what? It’s kinda crazy ’cause I really don’t mind, and you make it better like that.’

Justin has worked with Ed in the past; his 2015 hit Love Yourself was co-written by the British hitmaker.

In a 2017 interview, Ed revealed that Love Yourself was written for his album Divide and that the tune would have been scrapped before Justin took it for himself.

This is the first time the two have sang together on a track, and we’re very into it.

Anyone else already listened five times?
